There's a traffic warning this weekend in East Fishkill as people mourn the line of duty death of a longtime police officer.
The Town of East Fishkill says expect congestion Friday around Route 52 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Officer Daniel DiDato's wake.
It will be at John Jay High School in Hopewell Junction.
The funeral will be held Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon, so expect delays around Main Street and Route 376.
DiDato died Monday night when his cruiser veered off the Taconic and hit a tree.
He served East Fishkill for nearly 19 years.
