Town of Patterson man charged in thefts from Southeast Train Station

A Town of Patterson man is facing multiple felony grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property charges.

A Town of Patterson man is facing multiple felony grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property charges. 

 News 12 was told 39-year-old Thomas Capablo was arrested following a joint investigation between the Putnam County's Sheriff Office and MTA police.

 They say he stole items from the Southeast Train Station on two separate occasions this month.

Items stolen included a pickup truck, which was later recovered in Yonkers, and a wallet with credit cards inside.

 News 12 was told the man committed the same crime on Route 312 in the Town of Southeast.
