Toys for Tots not meeting goal of having enough toys for kids in need

Westchester County Toys for Tots officals say their donations are down significantly this year,
and they need your help.
So far, they've only been
able to distribute enough toys for about 4,000 out of the 24,000 kids
registered.
Volunteers say they're far
from their goal, which is to give every child registered a gift to open for
Christmas. "We
do have a lot of community support, but it's just not cutting it at the
moment," says Steve
Topilnycky, the Westchester County Toys for Tots coordinator.
Organizers say they
especially need more toys for infants and children 12
and older.
