Mamaroneck officials have issued a traffic alert for drivers in the village.
A section of Old Boston Post Road will be closed to thru traffic for roadwork between Route 1 and Old Post Lane
The village says construction will take place until 5 p.m.
The road will only be opened to local traffic, village officials say to keep eye out for other temporary closures throughout the day.
