Officials have issued a traffic alert today as the traffic lights along Croton Point Avenue are set to be activated.

The Department of Transportation will be on hand evaluating conditions and determining if any adjustments need to be made to the timing and sequence of the lights.

They are advising motorists to be cautious if traveling through the area.

It's possible the activation could be pushed to tomorrow due to the weather.
