A triple shooting in Yonkers has sparked fears of a possible gang war in the area.
Three young men, ages 17 to 25, were shot when someone opened fire into a crowd just before 9 p.m. Sunday on the corner of Lawrence Street and Saratoga Avenue in southwest Yonkers.
The apparent targets of the shooting are members of a local gang known as the Lawrence Street Posse. Sources say the shooting may have been retaliation for an earlier incident involving the gang.
