Did you know that the tuxedo is named after an Orange County town?
The tux is being celebrated this month in Tuxedo where it first appeared in the United States 150 years ago.
American millionaire James Potter brought the dinner jacket fashion back from London to his hometown of Orange County. People liked the look so much it soon became known as the style of the residents of Tuxedo.
The exhibit of tuxedos is now on display through Nov. 6 at the Tuxedo Historical Society in honor of Potter.
