One of the most popular Halloween events in Sleepy Hollow kicked off Friday night.

The Twilight Village at the Philipsburg Manor drew in nearly a thousand people.

There are vendors, fire dancers, storytellers, fortune tellers and Halloween-themed games.

It didn't just bring in Sleepy Hollow residents, but also people from all over the country.

Sleepy Hollow residents say this time of year is always exciting.

"We look forward to this every year," Sleepy Hollow resident Logan Dyer. "Halloween is a special time for us because there's a lot of people here."

The Twilight Village will run through Nov. 1.
