Two men are recovering after two separate overnight stabbings happened in Morrisania on Sunday night.
The first stabbing happened at E. 170th Street and Fulton Avenue at 9:30 p.m.
When police arrived, they found the 23-year-old with a stab wound to his abdomen.
Sources close to the investigation say this attack stemmed from a verbal dispute.
He was transported by EMS to St Barnabas Hospital and is expected to be OK.
Police sources say they are looking for a man wearing a face mask, a white T-shirt and black shorts.
There are no arrests and investigation is ongoing.
The second stabbing happened just an hour later less than two blocks away.
Police responded to a stabbing at 3rd Avenue and St. Paul's Place just before 10:30 p.m.
When police arrived, they found a 29-year-old man with multiple stab wounds throughout his body.
A person of interest was taken into custody at the scene.
That person is now being identified by police as 23-year-old Neelsen Rivas. Rivas is facing charges for assault.
The 29-year-old man was transported by police to St Barnabas Hospital and is expected to be OK.
