15ds agoTwo state troopers from Middletown were honored during the state Police Annual Awards ceremony.
Troopers Andrew Giga and Jason Cole were recognized for their heroics on July 11, 2023. The troopers saw multiple cars on Seven Lakes Drive being swept away by flooding waters and quickly jumped in to help.
The two officers used their K-9s and helped save victims from the rapidly moving water.
