‘We’re going to do it again.’ Huskies, Geno Auriemma celebrate 12th title during Hartford victory parade

An estimated 20,000 people turned out in Hartford Sunday for a parade and rally in honor of the UConn Huskies women's basketball team, one week after they won their record 12th NCAA championship in Tampa, Florida.
"It was amazing to see all the players and to let them know how much we love and appreciate and respect every last one of them," said Edward Muni, of Bridgeport.
The Huskies beat South Carolina 82-59 last Sunday in the championship game.

Head coach Geno Auriemma said the program is going to make history again next year.
"And I don't know whether it's going to be the women or the men, us or them – but damn, we're going to do it again," he said.
