The Ulster County Sheriff's Office has issued a warning to residents after a recent burglary and several car break-ins were reported in the same area.

The incidents occurred over the last four days on Union Center Road and surrounding areas in the town of Esopus.

Residents are advised to take precautions to secure their property:

  • Lock cars, doors, and windows of homes

  • Do not leave valuables in plain sight

The Sheriff's Office is urging residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
