Some uninsured patients at the Bronx Health Care Center say they are hopeful President Barack Obama's health care reform legislation is passed.
Sabrina Scott says she comes to the health center twice a month to check her high blood pressure and diabetes. Scott pays out of pocket for her medical visits and prescriptions, but says she won't be able to afford it much longer.
Under Obama's plan, about 45 million Americans who have no health insurance would be covered. The plan would also provide subsidies for those who can't afford premiums, and require insurance companies to cover people with pre-existing conditions.
Critics of the $1 trillion plan say it is too costly and would give the government too much control.
