A union that represents hundreds of nurses, housekeepers and dieticians at the Ramapo Manor Center rallied for a better contract Tuesday.
Members of the United Health Care Workers say their issues include having adequate staffing, health benefits and pensions. They say the current contract isn't working in their favor.
Marsha Squires, of the Ramapo Manor Center, told News 12 the nursing home "is committed to finding financially sound solutions" in its negotiations with the union.
