Vanderhoef wins fifth term as executive
Republican incumbent Scott Vanderhoef won a fifth term as Rockland County executive Tuesday against Democratic challenger Thom Kleiner.
Vanderhoef cast his own vote at St. Catherine School in Blauvelt and says he's proven his dedication to the people of Rockland over the last 16 years.
Vanderhoef says he will focus on the property taxes resulting from the state budget.
