12h agoA major Verizon service outage impacted customers around Dutchess County Tuesday.
A spokesperson with Verizon says the outage was sparked by a power generator fire at one of their facilities in the Hudson Valley. Service has since been restored.
Some people living in Dutchess County tell News 12 customers were especially hit hard in and around Poughkeepsie. These customers say it started early Tuesday morning.
