Several events are scheduled to take place on Veterans Day in the Hudson Valley - here's a list of some of them. 
White Plains Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 
More information: The City of White Plains will hold its annual veterans ceremony outdoors on the steps of City Hall, 255 Main Street. The event will feature recollections and insights by a keynote speaker, in addition to comments and participation from community patrons, including White Plains Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, who will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and give poetry readings. A White Plains Honor Guard, comprised of members of the City of White Plains Police and Fire Departments, will also participate.
Yonkers Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 11 a.m.
More information: Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano and the Department of Veterans Services will join local veterans in recognition of the Yonkers' Annual Veterans Day Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Plaza at 40 South Broadway in Yonkers.
New Rochelle Veterans Day Ceremony
Time:  11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
More information: The ceremony will take place at the World War I Monument, Faneuil Park, Main and Huguenot streets.
Ossining Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 10 a.m.
More information: There will be a Mass at St. Augustine Church at 10 a.m., followed by a service at Nelson Park at 11 a.m. Village offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.
Poughkeepsie Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 11 a.m.
More information: Attend Dutchess County’s annual Veterans Day ceremony at the Dutchess County War Memorial on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at John K. Rinaldi Memorial Park at the intersection of Raymond Avenue and Main Street in Poughkeepsie.
Orangetown Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 11:30 a.m.
More information: Veterans drive-by lunch. All veterans, active duty military are welcome to receive a boxed lunch from the Town of Orangetown at the Orangetown Town Hall.  Must have RSVP'ed by Nov. 9.
Mamaroneck
Time: 11 a.m. 
More information: American Legion Post 90, 89 Prospect Ave. in front of Mamaroneck Village Police Dept. There will be songs and prayers, remarks and greeting tributes and remembrances.  The ceremony will be followed by coffee, snacks.
