Come March 31 of next year, the Village of South Nyack will be officially dissolved.
Residents voted back in December to dissolve the village into the Town of Orangetown.
Plans to close the village books and government were then approved in July.
The 45-day deadline to challenge those plans has now passed - with no oppositions.
South Nyack residents will now receive services from Orangetown.
They'll also hopefully see relief from increasingly high property taxes, which had become an issue for many South Nyack residents.
