The Village of Upper Nyack has suspended its noise law to allow people to use leaf blowers and clean debris from the storm.

The law says gasoline-powered leaf blowers may be used only between March 15 through May 15, and September 15 through December 15.

However, the mayor says the law will remain suspended until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
