Most Rockland County residents found very few obstacles on Election Day, and those that did found that officials from the board of elections had ready solutions.
A machine malfunctioned at one Rockland County polling site, but the problem was resolved by using emergency paper ballots.
While voters found long lines during peak hours, many said their wait wasn't long at all.
"I feel that it was very easy to get in and get out, there [were] no lines and I feel bad for those people that had to wait on long lines,? said Mildred Nazario. ?I feel fortunate that it was easy for us."
Rockland County polling sites will close at 9 p.m.
