Warmer stretch of spring weather continues ahead of Saturday showers

It may be April, but the sun is incredibly strong this time of year and sunscreen should be used on these nice days!

Chances are, if you enjoyed yesterday's warm spring weather, you will also love today's weather! High temperatures will be in the 70s again with a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky.
This also continues to be the peak of tree pollen season. Grass pollen is active as well, but on the low side for now. You are likely noticing those seasonal allergies again today.
This stretch of nicer and warmer spring weather with highs in the 70s will continue through Friday.
Saturday will be a wet start to the weekend with periods of moderate rain in the morning, tapering off for the afternoon. Rain totals should be between one-half inch and one inch. We do need the rain across the lower Hudson Valley still as this moderate drought continues.
Sunday will by far and away be the better half of the weekend. Next week starts nice and warm ahead of some rain showers late-Wednesday that will cool us down to more seasonable temperatures in the 60s by the end of next week.
Have a great Wednesday!
