Warwick residents face up to 1 year in prison for animal abuse conviction

A pair of Warwick residents will be sentenced this July after being convicted on charges of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals in Orange County.

A pair of Warwick residents will be sentenced this July after being convicted on charges of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals in Orange County.
Daniel and Lauretta Duthie face up to a year in prison in connection with the animal abuse case.
They'll be fined $1,000 and will have to pay restitution for the dogs' care following their seizure.
The Duthies will also have to register with the Orange County Animal Abuse Registry and can't own a dog for 15 years.
