Washingtonville High School principal Michael Rossi appeared in court yesterday, on charges that he allegedly sexually abused a student.

Police say Rossi allegedly had improper contact with a 16-year-old male student. Alan Lewis, Rossi's lawyer, maintans his client is innocent and says he will be vindicated if the case goes to trial this fall.
