An Orange County streetwear designer and Berkeley College senior is gaining some major attention.
Jay Arthur went from the tiny Village of Washingtonville to the international pages of GQ Magazine.
"They were saying, how your brand - it would fit perfectly for what we have going withthese upcoming issues,” says Arthur.

The 24-year-old is now exploding in the fashion industry, thanks to three back-to-back features of his clothing line, Solar 8, that the men's magazine touted as a "luxury streetwear brand."
Arthur started designing back in 2014 when a T-shirt he created became a hit with friends.
He describes his collection as vibrant and expressive.

Arthur says he is hands-on, designing pieces and picking fabrics himself. The clothing is manufactured overseas and sold online.
