A City of Newburgh-issued water boil notice that went into effect following a water main break was lifted on Saturday.
The Orange County Department of Health said the water quality was now up to standard after multiple rounds of testing.
The boil water notice was put in place on Wednesday due to a
water main break on Little Britain Road.
City officials said 20,000 residents were affected, about a third of the city.
City of Newburgh Water Department advises residents to give them a call if they have any questions.
