News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Julian Seawright says the Hudson Valley will see periods of light to moderate throughout Saturday before a mostly dry and breezy Sunday.
NOW: Great weather again on Friday with sun and highs in the low-60s.
NEXT: It will be wet start to the weekend on Saturday with mostly light rain ahead of a drier but windy and cool Sunday.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Increasing clouds but dry. Lows near 47 degrees.
SATURDAY -- WEATHER TO WATCH: A wet day but with fairly low impacts. Cloudy skies with showers developing mid to late morning. Expect periods of light to moderate rain throughout the day, tapering off overnight Saturday night. Rain totals are still projected to be around or less than 1 inch. Areas north of I-84 will see even less. The solar eclipse will not be seen due to the clouds and rain. Highs around 56 degrees. Lows near 47 degrees.
SUNDAY: Any lingering spotty showers are done by daybreak. Partly sunny and a bit windy with some wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph. A stray shower is possible, but most of the day is dry. Highs around 59 degrees. Lows around 49 degrees.
MONDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with a stray shower. Highs around 58 degrees. Lows around 49 degrees.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with a stray shower. Highs around 58 degrees. Lows around 48 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny. Highs around 59 degrees. Lows near 46 degrees.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and slightly warmer with highs around 63 degrees. Lows near 46 degrees.
