Weather Update: Rain could cause flooding across Hudson Valley
An all-day rain could cause flooding in low-lying areas across the Hudson Valley today.
News 12 meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says a low pressure system will slowly ride up the eastern seaboard today, and it will be wet and raw all day long. An east wind will make temperatures feel like they are in the 40s for most of the day. Expect ponding on many of the area’s roadways though Wednesday’s morning commute.
There will be a shower or two on Wednesday morning, and Van Eck expects pleasant weather for the rest of the week.
Highs are expected to be near 70 on Thursday and in the upper 70s for Friday and the weekend.
