There are several free events for families to enjoy this holiday weekend.

A guided walking tour will be held at Staatsburg Village on Saturday.

The 90-minute tour will start at the library and go through the historic village for around a mile.

Space is limited so organizers are asking all participants to register online beforehand.

A free fireworks show will also be held Sunday at Memorial Park in Nyack.

The waterfront area is only a few minutes away from the center of the village.
