One year after the pandemic forced her beloved Weezie D boutique to close, the beloved owner Weezie D'Souza spent the last year creating a new blueprint for her life and her business, as it reopens in Eastchester.
When News 12 first met her last May, she was facing eviction from the beloved Bronxville boutique she operated for 15 years.
Last July after she closed shop, D'Souza took some time to regroup and learned the lessons the pandemic offered.
She changed her business into a one-on-one appointment only shopping experience.
Customers received specialized attention and an experience personalized for them.
On Thursday D'Souza's loyal customers showed up by the dozens to support her grand reopening.
She insists she is recharged and eager to help them look their best.
