4h agoA blood drive will be held Monday in memory of a beloved father.
The New York Blood Center is hosting the blood drive in West Haverstraw in memory of Anthony Apostolico, who died on Father's Day.
He was driving home on the Palisades Parkway on June 19 with two of his children when a large tree fell onto the road and crushed their pickup truck.
The 48-year-old died at the scene and both kids were hospitalized.
The blood drive is Monday at 130 Samsondale Ave. in West Haverstraw from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
