A member of the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program in Westchester has achieved the program's highest honor at just 15 years old.
Arielle Nickerson, of Mamaroneck, has recently been awarded the prestigious General Carl A. Spaatz Award.
Nickerson's journey began in 2020 when she joined the squadron's space program at the age of 12. Through her exceptional participation and leadership, she distinguished herself among her peers.
Notably, Nickerson is the youngest person in the New York Wing to earn this esteemed award, marking a significant accomplishment in her young career.
