The Westchester County Health Department has closed several Hudson Valley beaches due to heavy rains, citing high levels of harmful bacteria in the water.
The affected beaches include:
In Mamaroneck: Harbor Island, Beach Point Club, Orienta Beach Club, and Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club
In Rye: Coveleigh Club
In New Rochelle: Hudson Park Beach, Davenport Club, Greentree Club, and Surf Club
Playland Park and Croton Point are open.
