Westchester County Executive George Latimer has recently signed a new set of laws to enhance the fight against climate change.
These laws encompass monitoring drinking water in all county parks, studying asthma rates in communities of color, assisting municipalities in transitioning towards renewable energy, and ensuring fairness in the consideration of new laws across all communities.
Additionally, the county is expanding access to electric vehicle charging stations and electrifying the county's car and bus fleet.
