The American Academy of Pediatrics is reminding parents and caregivers that the safest way for babies to sleep the ABC’s - “Alone, on their Backs and in a Crib."

Westchester County Executive George Latimer is helping to launch a new campaign to promote safer sleep practices for babies.
October is Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Syndrome Awareness Month.
The American Academy of Pediatrics is reminding parents and caregivers that the safest way for babies to sleep the ABC’s - “Alone, on their Backs and in a Crib."
According to the Westchester County Department of Social Services, Westchester County has lost five babies this year to SUIDS and 24 children since 2016.
