A Hudson Valley teen and his partner were chosen to compete in a national dance competition judged by megastars Michael Bublé and "Dancing With The Stars" judge Derek Hough.
Luke DeBellis, 16, from Somers, and his dance partner, Nicole Baranovsky, 16. from Fairlawn, New Jersey, were selected after sending in a video of their cha-cha to Bublé‘s song, “Higher.”
They’re up against dozens of dancers and are currently in the top five based on votes.
"We really put dedication and time into really trying to bring up our name in the dance community,” said DeBellis.
“I’ve been watching "Dancing With The Stars" since I started dancing,” said Baranovsky. “So, having Derek Hough and Michael Bublé have this competition is amazing and that we get to participate in it.”
If you’d like to vote for Luke and Nicole to secure their top spot, you can do so once daily per email.
Voting ends on Tuesday and starts back up again for the final round on Wednesday. If they win - they get tickets to Los Angeles for this season’s "Dancing With The Stars" finale, Disney tickets, a meet and greet with Michael Bublé and a dance lesson with Derek Hough.
