Louis "Fredo" Sanchez, Ossining's first fire department chief of Hispanic heritage, is being honored for his lifetime of public service and community accomplishments.
Westchester County will recognize Sanchez during a ceremony in White Plains on Sept. 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
