White Plains businesses offered incentives for customers to do their holiday shopping locally on Small Business Saturday.

Residents were able to get validated parking for up to two hours if they use the ParkWhitePlains app on their phone.

The manager of Bead Everything, a jewelry store in the area, says she's also giving out beaded masks with every purchase over $25.

Stores and restaurants had similar incentives. The White Plains Business Improvement District helped to facilitate those efforts to support those local businesses.

The businesses will be running their specials through Dec. 13.
