A Wilton man accused of killing his neighbor has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, according to court documents.
Sebastian Andrews stabbed Arinzechukwu Ukachukwu during an unprovoked attack in Ukachukwu's driveway on Partick Lane in March 2023.
At the time, Ukachukwu's death marked Wilton's first homicide in over a decade.
Andrews' attorney will have to prove that he suffered from a "mental disease or defect" that prevented him from thinking clearly.
The case will go to trial before a panel of three judges on April 1.
