Customers are arriving early to be among the first through the doors of a new Chick-fil-A opening today in White Plains.
The restaurant is set to open at 6:30 a.m. and is preparing for a large turnout.
It will be Chick-fil-A’s third full-size location in Westchester, joining restaurants in Yonkers and Scarsdale. There is also a location at the Ardsley Thruway rest stop.
The new restaurant is owned and operated by a former public relations professional with the New York Yankees.
To celebrate the opening, customers who wear cow spots can receive a free entrée or kid’s meal as part of a “Moove-In Party.” The offer is available inside the restaurant and at the drive-thru.
The expected crowds could also create traffic problems during the morning commute. The area around the restaurant is typically busy during rush hour, and the Yonkers location experienced congestion for weeks after it opened.
