A Pace University student who was inside a car when police fatally shot his friend and teammate, Danroy Henry, held a news conference in Pleasantville yesterday afternoon. Brandon Cox held the news conference at Lucio's Pizza, the same restaurant where he and Henry shared dinner with their families after the Pace homecoming game last month. Henry was shot later that night by police.

Cox's family and Henry's family regularly had dinners together to keep their families connected and to share updates on how the lives of their children were progressing.

Cox, his mother, his father and their attorney discussed how they believe Cox was the first to be shot by police, while recounting memories of their family gatherings, and of Henry himself.
