Suffolk County police said they are investigating whether a pair of grand larcenies at the same FedEx in Melville, five months apart, are connected.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers said they're asking for the public's help identifying a woman accused of using a fake ID to pick up a package containing $19,000 worth of silver bars and coins. Today, they released her photo.
The incident happened on March 23 around 5 p.m. at the FedEx Shipment Center at 270 Express Drive South in Melville.

She fled in a white electric Chevrolet Equinox, according to police.
This is the second time in five months that this FedEx was targeted by an alleged thief using fraudulent means.
That package contained a watch valued at $4,650.
Suffolk County police said they have not arrested anyone in connection with the October incident.
Investigators are offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in both cases.
Anyone with information can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
A FedEx spokesperson told News 12, “The security of our customers’ shipments is a top priority, and we are working with local law enforcement in their investigation. Further questions should be referred to local investigators.”
