The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters are ending the year right here in Westchester.
You can see the stars pull off their mind blowing tricks at the Westchester County Center in White Plains this Sunday.
Ahead of the event, we caught up with Hot Rod de la Rosa, one of the team's standout forwards, to discuss his inspiring journey to becoming a star player.
"When I was 9 years old, the Harlem Globetrotters came to my school and performed the same tricks I'm doing for you now. That day, I got inspired to play basketball. I told my mom and dad, 'I'm going to go play basketball,' and it all began. I made my fourth-grade basketball team, moved on to a high school, and eventually to Mount Vernon Academy, the country's top high school. I played multiple Division 1 schools, ventured to Thailand, Malaysia, and now, I'm with the Harlem Globetrotters."
Tickets for Sunday's shows are still available.
