"Black History Month" celebrations continue across the Hudson Valley.
In Yonkers, City Council President Lakisha Collins Bellamy held a special event last night to honor the legacy of four Black artists in the city. One of those artists was sculptor Vinnie Bagwell.
Around 50 people attended the event at the City Hall Ceremonial Courtroom.
The event served as a meaningful tribute to the contributions of Black artists and their lasting impact on the cultural landscape of Yonkers.
