A Yonkers man was arraigned on a new indictment stemming from a hit-and-run that killed a 16-year-old boy last August.
Stephen Dolan, 46, was indicted this week on charges of vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of an incident without reporting-personal injury.
Christopher Hackett was riding his scooter on McLean Avenue when he was hit by a van.
During a hearing in County Court, the DA's office asked that bail be raised to $500,000, saying that Dolan had 17 drinks over several hours at two bars prior to the crash.
The judge kept bail at $100,000.
Hackett's father spoke outside court.
"I want him in jail obviously. I want him in jail for a long time, not for two years. Killed too good of a kid to go away for two years," said Christopher Hackett, the victim's father.
Dolan faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.
