Yonkers man pleads guilty to hate crime assault on Jewish barber

A 34-year-old man pleaded guilty to second-degree assault as a hate crime for attacking a Jewish barber, according to the Westchester District Attorney's Office.

Ahmed Al Jabali admitted to the August assault at the victim's Yonkers Avenue business.

Jabali attacked the 50-year-old barber with scissors, shouting expletives and saying he wanted to kill him.

The victim suffered cuts to his face, body, arms and hands.

Jabali faces six years in prison and is due back in court next month.
