A Yonkers man tells News 12 he's getting the runaround on a refund for an Amazon order that was never delivered.
Jose Villalba Irizarry said he received an email from Amazon stating two items, worth more than $260, were delivered on Jan. 23.
He said the item was not on his porch when he went home, he did not see a delivery made at the time of the delivery on his surveillance camera and his neighbors did not have his package.
Villalba Irizarry said he contacted Amazon and spoke with a representative who told him to file a police report to indicate the item was stolen.
Yonkers police confirm they met with Irizarry and are working on filing an incident report but at this time, the department has no evidence that a crime was committed.
"The customer service reps do not get that and they are insisting I must report it as stolen,” said Villalba Irizarry.
