A Yonkers man has been arrested on charges of attempted murder and assault after a shooting in the city.
Police say Jaquan Henderson, 23, was arrested in Georgia on Aug. 3.
They say there were two shootings within just 90 minutes of each other July 16.
This first happened around 9:15 p.m. in the area of Pitkin Park. The second happened around 10:48 p.m. near 42 School St.
In the second shooting, three victims, two males and one female, were critically injured.
Police believe the shootings were related to group violence, and that Henderson was retaliating after the first shooting that night. Henderson fled the state but was tracked down in Georgia, arrested by authorities, and brought back to Yonkers.
Henderson has been remanded to the Westchester County Jail pending his next court date.
All three victims suffered critical internal injuries and are still recovering.
No arrests have been made in the other shooting.
