Yonkers police are on the hunt for shoplifting suspects who they say they dangerously escaped from police twice.
Detectives say officers stopped a car on Central Park Avenue suspected to be involved in several shoplifting cases.
When they talked to the suspects with the door open, the driver suddenly accelerated and drove off.
That open car door hit a one of the officer who was at the area hospital.
The driver was then spotted again but sped off when police tried to stop them.
That chase ended at the Mount Vernon border where the NYPD says the car crashed in the Bronx, but the suspects ran away.
