Yonkers police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Saturday.

Police say officers responded to a report of shots fired at 78 Hamilton Ave. just before 11 p.m.

According to police, one victim was found with a gunshot wound to their leg.

Officials say the victim was taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Details about arrests or the events leading up to the shooting were not immediately clear.
