The warning period for Yonkers New School Bus Safety Initiative is coming to an end.
Tickets will be issued for those caught passing buses starting Nov. 13.
The program works by using cameras on the stop arms to catch drivers who are illegally passing.
According to city officials, more than 1,000 incidents have been reviewed and verified as violations thus far.
The program has been in place for a month.
City officials say about 250 buses have had cameras installed.
